Most recently are the two 4th of July cakes I made for this weekend. This is the cake I brought to my friend's Independence Day party.
This is the Dr. Seuss-ish cake I brought to my family reunion. I was obviously getting into the explosions off the top of the cake.
This is the convertible I made for a coworker. Her daughter just had to get a responsible mom car instead of this . . . so her mom thought it would be fun to remind her of the car she couldn't get. :)
This was the first time I did poured sugar. I used it for the windshield and it seemed to turn out okay. . . maybe just a little dark on the color.
